A dry season kept enteries down for last weekend's Birdbrook and District Garden Club Show, but despite the slight drop in quantity - the quality was by no means down on last year's. The cup winners were: Moyns Cup - Mr E.E. Blyth, Duchess of Westminster Cup - Mrs F. Ralling, Unwin Cup - Mr. R. Cardy, Birdbrook Garden Club cup - Mr Joe Finlay, Cookery Cup - Mrs M. Hunt, and Rose Bronze Medal Cup - Mr R. Hunt.
Prize giving 1980.
